A/Prof. Abdul Razakjr is a Cardiologist. He is also visiting consultant to National University Heart Centre, Singapore. He is currently Adjunct Associate Professor of the Lee Kong Chian/Imperial College London School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Apart from teaching medical students and fellows, A/Prof. Abdul Razakjr has been invited as lecturer and faculty for local and international cardiology meetings. He was also involved in scientific research, focusing particularly on issues related to cardiac arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death.

A/Prof. Abdul Razakjr is also the Specialty Editor Singapore Medical Journal (SMJ) and he sits in Singapore Medical Council’s (SMC) Complaints Panel. He was previously Consultant Cardiologist and Clinical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing (EPS) in National University Heart Centre, Singapore. He was also the previous the Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Medical Association (SMA). A/Prof. Abdul Razakjr’s clinical practices include general cardiology and cardiac arrhythmia, particularly clinical conditions like palpitation, fainting and sudden cardiac arrest. He performs cardiac catheterization study and interventional therapy inclusive of minimally invasive, percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac electrophysiology study, radiofrequency catheter ablation and implantation of pacemakers and cardioverter defibrillators.
