Assistant Professor Teo Kejia is currently a Senior Consultant with the Division of Neurosurgery, National University Hospital. He received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2006. He was trained in General Surgery and received his advanced surgical training in Neurosurgery in National University Hospital.

Assistant Professor Teo was awarded the Academic Medicine Development Award in 2013 for which he underwent two years of further training in Queen’s Hospital, Romford, London and was trained in functional neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, neurovascular and spinal surgery. He was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Surgical Neurology) in 2015. Assistant Professor Teo also served as an executive committee member for several neurosurgical conferences in Singapore such as the Pituitary Tumour and Head Injury conferences. He was also the Chairman of the recent conference on Gliomas: Update on Molecular and Clinical Aspects. His clinical interests include neuro-oncology, awake craniotomies, functional neurosurgery, neurovascular and skull base surgery and traumatic head injuries.

Assistant Professor Teo is actively involved in the undergraduate education of medical students from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and is also appointed as examiner in the Final Professional Examination for the Degrees of M.B.,B.S., Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS Medicine), National University of Singapore. In addition, he is also a teaching faculty member at the NUHS Neurosurgery Residency Programme.
