Dr Aishworiya Ramkumar studied Medicine at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore from 2004 to 2009 where she graduated with various Dean’s List awards. She subsequently obtained her postgraduate qualifications in Master of Medicine, Paediatrics and became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom) in 2012. Dr Ramkumar has been on the Singapore Medical Council Specialist Register of Paediatricians since 2016.
Additionally, Dr Ramkumar is actively involved in research in the field of Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics. She has completed a Masters in Clinical Investigation under the National Research Foundation-Ministry of Health Healthcare Research Scholarship. Her research interests include improving outcomes of children with autism spectrum disorder, screen time and social-emotional development and sleep as well as its associated variables in children. She has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and is passionate about improving the outcomes of and services for children with special needs in the nation.
Dr Ramkumar is also a member of the Paediatric Ethics and Advocacy Centre (PEACe) in National University Hospital and is actively involved in the teaching and training of undergraduate medical students and postgraduate paediatric trainees.
