Dr Chen Zhengfeng, Jason is presently a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology, National University Heart Centre, Singapore.

Dr Chen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2010. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and was conferred the Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore, and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2014. He completed the Cardiology Senior Residency in the National University Heart Centre, Singapore, in 2018. In 2019, he completed the Asan Medical Centre Interventional Cardiology Training Program in Seoul, South Korea.

His subspecialty interests are in coronary artery disease, ischemic heart disease, and interventional cardiology. He performs percutaneous coronary artery evaluation, imaging, and intervention in support of the above. He is also a member of the 24H emergency PCI team, and part of the Western STEMI Network.

Beside his clinical interests, he is also an established medical educator and is presently appointed an Instructor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He is also a faculty member of the NUHCS Cardiology Senior Residency Programme. Since 2016, he has been a certfied instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). In 2020, he completed the NUHS-NUS Healthcare AI Leadership Executive education (HALE) program.

As part of the nation’s efforts toward harmonisation of electronic medical records, he was appointed co-lead of training for the Next-Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) initiative at NUH. In addition, he is a certified EPIC Advanced Physician Builder after completing the course at the EPIC campus in Verona, USA. In 2019, he completed the American Medical Informatics 10×10 course.

His research interests are in the fields of coronary artery disease, novel interventional therapeutics of heart failure, machine learning, as well as medical and device innovation. He has received a top projects award in the 2018 IHIS National HealthTech Challenge for his work in remote telemonitoring of heart failure patients utilizing computer vision and artificial intelligence.
