Dr. Cho completed her undergraduate medical training at University of Glasgow (UK) in 1999 and obtained her membership to the Royal College of Physician (MRCP) in 2002. Following her graduation, she completed her postgraduate training Certificate of Training (CCT) from the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board(UK) with dual accreditation in Diabetes and Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine in 2009. In that same year, she was awarded her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Hull (UK) in Diabetes and Endocrinology with her thesis titled “Cardiometabolic Aspects in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome”, under the direct guidance of Prof. Stephen Atkin and Prof. Eric Kilpatrick.

Prior to joining private practice, she relocated to Singapore to work as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Changi General Hospital (CGH). During her decade-long service at CGH, she was appointed Programme Director for Diabetes at the Eastern Health Alliance (EHA) Health Management Unit, an extended service provided by CGH to provide telehealth services to patients living in the East of Singapore to manage their diabetes in the community. With a keen interest in public health, Dr. Cho pursued a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2013 under the sponsorship of CGH and graduated with distinction.

As a mother of two children, Dr. Cho enjoys baking and spending time with her family on the weekends. She is able to converse fluently in English, Bahasa, Mandarin, and Chinese dialects (Cantonese, Hakka and Hokkien), with experience in treating both local and expatriate patients.
