Dr Dawn Lim is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Head of Uveitis Service with the Department of Ophthalmology, National University Hospital, Singapore.
Aside from managing all aspects of general ophthalmology including cataract surgery, Dr Lim is proficient in glaucoma surgery and lasers.
She has subspecialty interests in the surgical cum medical management of glaucoma and uveitis.
An awardee of the coveted Ministry of Health Training Scholarship, she proceeded to complete her specialist training locally followed by a prestigious clinical fellowship with surgical training in minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries and microshunt glaucoma drainage systems at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust, London, United Kingdom.
Her surgical practice revolves around the management of primary glaucomas, secondary glaucomas, complications of uveitis and uveitic cataracts.
She has co-authored scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented her work at international scientific conferences.
Dr Lim is also an Assistant Professor of Yong Loo Lin Medical School, National University of Singapore and has contributed multiple book chapters to Ophthalmology texts including Yanoff & Duker.
