Dr Jennifer Kiing obtained her basic medical degree at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1994. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2001. Since 2002, Dr Kiing has been fully registered with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria, is on the Specialist Register in General Paediatrics in Melbourne, Australia, and the Singapore Medical Council Specialist Register of General Paediatricians.

Her general paediatric training was undertaken at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide, and was completed at the National University Hospital, Singapore. Her special interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics was fostered during a Fellowship year spent in community paediatrics at the Centre for Community Child Health, Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. She was admitted as a member of the Chapter of Community Child Health (CCHC) with the Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Society of Develpoment and Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP), USA in 2012.

Dr Kiing is currently a Senior Consultant and the Clinical Director of the Child Development Unit which evaluates developmental, learning or behavioural issues in children under 7 years of age. NUH Child Development Unit has 2 satellite clinics which are located in Jurong (Level 2, of Jurong Medical Centre) and Choa Chu Kang (Level 3 of Keat Hong Community Club). Dr Kiing’s special interests are developmental and behavioural problems in young children, learning difficulties and sleep disorders. She is accredited to provide Level 3 Primary Care Triple P and is a Brazelton Touchpoints Individual Level Trainer.
