Dr Michelle Tseng completed her medical training with an intercalated Bachelor of Science degree at Imperial College London, United Kingdom and graduated with Distinction in Clinical Practice. She received her specialist training in Radiation Oncology at National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia. She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
She has a keen interest in research and education. She has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in teaching medical undergraduates at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS).
In 2018, she was recognised for her research excellence and awarded the RANZCR Faculty of Radiation Oncology Bourne and Langlands Prize. This prize is awarded for an exceptional trainee research requirement manuscript.
As a trainee, she served as Chief Resident and was a member of the RANZCR Radiation Oncology Trainees Committee (ROTC) and Quality Improvement Committee (QIC).
