Dr Tan Yew Ghee is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and clinical leader of Raffles Women’s Centre. Dr Tan specialises in the following areas in Obstetrics – specialised ultrasound including 3-D scanning, high-risk obstetrics, pain-free labour with epidural analgesia, post-caesarean section “Painbuster” pain-free management system and complete antenatal and delivery care. His areas of specialty in Gynaecology include advanced minimally-invasive (keyhole) surgery for treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and infertility; advanced hysterectomy methods including laparoscopically-assisted vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy and total laparoscopic hysterectomy; treatment of genital prolapse, urinary stress incontinence using the Tension-free Vaginal Tape (TVT and IVS); detection and treatment of pre-invasive and invasive cancers of cervix, uterus and ovaries; plastic surgery of the genital organs; infertility investigation; sex therapy counseling; menopause investigation and treatment.
